Travel the World – Why should YOU?

Thinking of Travelling the World? Want to go backpacking, but not sure where to start? We asked some experienced travellers staying at the Jolly Swagman Backpackers Sydney what their motivation was to travel the world.

You may find the answers simpler than you thought. Maybe you’re terrified to accept that career job until you’ve left your hometown. Maybe you want to experience a big city with the sense of community that comes from staying in a hostel. Or perhaps you simply want to live your daily life out of a worn out backpack. Whatever your reason, you are not alone. The first step is saying YES! Jump in that water and start swimming. Don’t put it off. Don’t become the lost soul saying “I wish I had” or “someday I will.” Be the person your friends back home live vicariously through. Today is the day to plan your trip. Pack a bag, grab your camera and get ready to meet new friends from all over the world. The more the merrier at our Sydney hostel. Join us for nightly activities or hop on a bus to the blue mountains with like-minded travellers. If you are feeling overwhelmed, scared or simply don’t know where to start, pick up the phone and call our friendly staff. We at the Jolly Swagman Backpackers in Sydney are here to help. We can’t wait to share stories and contribute to your adventures here in Australia.
