Here at the Jolly Swagman backpackers Sydney we realise that a big part of ‘hostel life' is meeting new people from around the world. Common areas are the best place to meet new people. The way the Jolly Swagman Backpackers hostel is laid out really makes it an amazing place to meet people. The TV room, reception desk, kitchen and dining area are all in the one living space, connecting to the outdoor courtyard area. The TV room is a great place to hang out as the room is made especially so people can crash out after a hard day of work, nurse a hangover from the aftermath of a big night out, or watch a movie from our DVD library. The room is laid out like a movie theatre with several tiers and lots of beanbags to relax in. Do you really want to spend your time in Sydney watching TV? We have Foxtel (Sky / cable channels) with movies, sport, fashion, cooking, entertainments news (in all languages) etc. If Sydney is waring holes in your pockets with the seven days a week party life style then just grab a movie from behind reception, a bag of chips (crisps) from woollies (the local supermarket) and laze the night away.
