THIS WEEK AT THE JOLLY SWAGMAN:

After a great ANZAC day long weekend, developments are just about done at the ol' Swagman, many rooms are being repainted with a light yellow and blue making them feel fresher, cleaner and bigger!

Entertainment has been going strong during the week, never forget to join us for our weekend favourites which include a free sausage sizzle on Friday nights followed by a trip to SoHo club for free entry and a free drink, as well as PJ Movie Night on Sundays- the perfect way to wind down the week (and ease the hangover) in slumberly comfort.

Come down to reception to receive your NEW free map of Sydney- much more detailed, colourful and interesting, the maps have great ideas for day tours, walks and even pub crawls on the back.

THIS WEEK IN SYDNEY:

Several cultural events coming on to the Sydney Stage this week- the wrap up of the Audi German Film festival will be going ahead at the Chauvel Cinema for those a little homesick or simply into European Culture. Additionally, get ready to book and join hundreds of leading Australian and International writers as we 'Read, Re-think, and Respond' during this year's Sydney Writers' Festival 15th-23rd May. There are a range of ticketed and free events at a range of Sydney venues. Check the website for the full program and event details.

SYDNEY WEATHER:

Showers and Cloud expected for Monday clearing Tuesday, mainly fine through to Saturday with Rain on Sunday. Top temperatures 26 degrees, minimum 10 celcius.

DID YOU KNOW?:

Sydney actually has quite a lot of nudist beaches; no really, and as a resident im not sure as to whether I should be delighted or concerned. Whilst reception's new maps detail their whereabouts with enthusiastic detail, hop over to the North Shore where Obelisk and Cobblers Nudist beachers offer something quite out of the ordinary; or La Perouse, Coogee women's rock pool or Lady Jane's Beach in the Eastern Suburbs.

Best avoided after dark............unless you're... ‘into'..that...
