This trip is for those who are looking to gain a more thorough insight into the Blue Mountains National Park.
It is an active tour including 3 hours hiking though gum forest and rain forest, into and out of the GRAND CANYON of the Grose Valley.
You will briefly visit the tourist stops at the Blue Mountains, and have the opportunity to ride the "Scenic Railway" and "Skyway".
Generally this tour gets away from the groups of tourists and includes visiting streams, waterfalls, cascades, caves and ancient rainforest. You may find lyre birds, bell birds. You will find massive blue gum trees, tree ferns, staghorn and orchids and also visit ANCIENT ABORIGINAL SITES. The walk is great - it's a little bit of a workout - but really worth it!!
You also visit a clearing which is home to kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, cockatoos and other wildlife.
